Founded in 2001 by Doug Sinclair, Sinclair Interplanetary is a supplier of hardware, software, training and expertise to the spacecraft community. The primary focus is on low-cost, rapid-schedule programs to produce micro- or nano-satellites.
Latest News
After 5-1/2 years on-orbit, AMSAT OSCAR-51 has been commanded to reverse its torque rod polarity to invert the satellite and switch service from the Northern to the Southern Hemisphere. The spacecraft carries the following Sinclair Interplanetary parts:
- A TQ-15-200-0-4-0 reversible permanent magnet torque rod
- A TD-1-9-40k-ANALOG-0 high power pulse drive unit
We are gratified to see this hardware work perfectly after having been turned off for half a decade.
